An evening of groundbreaking radio art and performance presented in partnership with CUAG. Explore the radical potentialities of analog radio through the work of artist and author Paul Jasen and media and sound artist Florence-Delphine Roux.
Join us for the Gridwkrs debut of Laylit, the international platform and collective celebrating music and artists from the Arab/SWANA region and its diaspora. Each party takes you on a genre-spanning journey, highlighting the incredible musical diversity, depth and richness that comes out of the region. Laylit has established its place on the scene with a signature electronic sound blending shaabi, dabke, mahraganat, Arabic pop and hip-hop with contemporary, boundary pushing dance music (techno, breakbeat, hyperpop…) inspired by New York and Montreal’s thriving underground clubs.
Toronto’s foremost maqam group, the Labyrinth Ensemble, has spent four years dedicated to experimenting with and promoting modal music traditions of Central, West, and South Asia, and the Mediterranean. Coming from various areas of experience and musical backgrounds, the musicians learned to master new ways of hearing, performing, and thinking about music.
For the first time in Ottawa, we are thrilled to present a concert by Beverly Glenn-Copeland and Elizabeth Copeland on Friday, December 5, 2025 at the Bronson Centre. Opening the show will be singer-songwriter Izzy Rose.
