Pique spring edition returns this March with its second multi-day edition of the signature music and arts festival, taking over the Arts Court in downtown Ottawa. Featuring groundbreaking performances, striking art installations, and thought-provoking presentations, Pique is a convergence of creativity and innovation that welcomes international artists and communities.

Acclaimed Nicaraguan-Canadian composer, producer, and musician Brandon Miguel Valdivia, also known as Mas Aya, returns to Ottawa for a night of lush atmospheric production and live instrumentation.

Mas Aya is joined by avant-garde improvisational artist Aymara Alvarado Sánchez and eclectic vinyl selector DJ Glory Hull.

Satoko Fujii’s Tokyo Trio is a lithe, quick-witted ensemble capable of terrific speed and excitement as well as subtle textures and tone colors. Visiting from Japan, they will be joined by local improvisers LSD Trio.
