Before attending the event, please complete a COVID-19 self-screening. If you do not pass the self-screening, please STAY AT HOME.
Event staff and attendees are encouraged to take an at-home antigen test before arriving on site. Antigen tests are currently available for free from many pharmacy and grocery store locations (find out more here).
Face masks (KN95 masks recommended) must be worn over the mouth and nose at all times, for example:
when attendees are using the washroom facilities
when attendees are ordering or paying for food and beverages
when attendees are entering and exiting the location
Face masks can ONLY be removed in order to consume beverages, and should be worn in between drinks.
It is recommended that you wear a well fitted medical mask or a respirator (N95, KN95), which may provide better protection for you. We will have a limited number available for audience members.
Please wash hands or use the provided hand sanitizer often.

About the artists
Myriam Gendron
Myriam Gendron was born in Ottawa in 1988 and she grew up between Gatineau (Quebec), Washington D.C. and Paris. She settled in Montreal at the age of sixteen, where she currently makes her living as a book dealer.
In 2014, she released Not So Deep as a Well, a nine-track album made from poems by Dorothy Parker that she set to music. The critically-acclaimed record, released by Feeding Tube Records and Mama Bird Recording Co., was picked for many best-of-the-year (and best-of-the-decade) lists. Richard Meltzer, one of the founders of modern rock criticism in the USA, wrote that Not So Deep as a Well, “is the hottest—and FINEST!—Impossible Love collection in, I dunno, 30 years.”
Seven years later, in 2021, Myriam Gendron released Ma délire — Songs of love, lost & found, a very modern exploration of North American folk tales and traditional melodies. The bilingual double album of 75 minutes, released on October 1st 2021 by Feeding Tube Records and Les Albums Claus, is very well received by local and international musical critique.

Myriam Gendron est née à Ottawa en 1988 et a grandi entre le Québec, les États-Unis et la France. Installée à Montréal depuis l’âge de 16 ans, elle exerce aujourd’hui le métier de libraire à la librairie Le Port de tête.
En 2014, elle a fait paraître Not So Deep as a Well, un album constitué de poèmes de Dorothy Parker mis en musique. L’album, paru chez Feeding Tube Records et Mama Bird Recording Co., a connu un grand succès critique et s’est retrouvé sur plusieurs listes des meilleurs albums de l’année et de la décennie. Richard Meltzer, l’un des fondateurs de la critique rock, considère cet album comme le meilleur ensemble de chansons d’amour des 30 dernières années.
C’est sept ans plus tard, en 2021, que Myriam Gendron fait paraître Ma délire – Songs of love, lost & found, une exploration très contemporaine des univers folkloriques de notre Amérique. Il s’agit d’un album double de 75 minutes, où se mélangent l’anglais et le français, les douceurs acoustiques et les déchirures électriques, la tradition et la modernité. L’album, paru le 1er octobre 2021 chez Feeding Tube Records et Les Albums Claus, reçoit un accueil très favorable de la critique musicale locale et internationale.
Juliana LaChance
Juliana LaChance is a Canadian-Ukrainian musician from Hamilton, Ontario. She plays the Bandura, a 60 string hybrid folk harp, made in the U.S.S.R. Her ethereal, psychedelic, melodies echo the tradition of the bandurist, playing spiritual ballads and songs of the people. Classically trained, she has spent many years studying folk music and busking across Canada. Juliana is also a visual artist and filmmaker, with a catalogue of over 50 music videos on her youtube channel. Her performances, include new media and installation, creating a multidimensional experience for the audience. In Spring 2022, she will be releasing her 8th full-length folk album "SHINE" along with a myriad of music videos to celebrate the new songs. Juliana is a member of the rock duo Melting Hills with her partner Alexander Medley.
Modeville
Modeville is a classically trained experimental multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter. Featuring the viola and the autoharp, their first EP ''Confortable'' is vocal harmony focused and has folk, indie, and classical influences. Modeville discovers themselves through their childhood traumas and warm memories. Their second EP called ''Quartz rose'' is an electronic and ambient experimentation. Mostly through-written (or through-composed), this EP features samples of field recordings (rubbing water on a piece of rose quartz) and features a self-produced quartet. Modeville's work communicates vulnerability, youth, complex emotions, and the sublime.
